Purchase Request Process
- Based on the principles of processing suggesting purchasing by the library
management committee in 2000.12.07:
1-1. The data which is not involved with violence or pornograpy can be processed by
the library under the premise of the budget.
1-2. When there is a controversy, to respect the individuality of academic research,
the suggesting data need to be recognized by the teacher of the class then send to the
library to process by rules.
- The budget of the library is mainly on purchasing the Chinese or comprehensive
data of college level. And it could be adjusted under the condition of annual budget
and whether library has enough data on relative issue.If the data is foreign language
or specialized subject or it is over 1000 NT$ per volume or the series of data are over
2000 NT$, those data need to be sent to the original department or office of the
referee to agree the expense.
- About the due time rules of suggesting purchasing:
3-1. The processing time of suggesting purchasing has defferent delivery time based
on the type data.
3-2. If there is no stock or the book is in second edition or out of pring, these can all
affect the delivery time.
3-3. Some data from China or foreign countries need to deliver from abroad. And the
purchasing fees come from departments or offices. So the processing time also
include the time that waits for the recognition of departments or offices.
3-4. As there are many patrons suggesting different data and the manpower is limited
in the library. The processing time cannnot be too soon. But we will try our best to
finish within three weeks after we receive the item.
